Michael Murphy – Chief Executive Officer
Michael has more than 35 years’ experience across the financial services sector. Michael has been the CEO of the UAA Group for more than nine years and provides expertise in strategic planning, analytical and relationship management skills. In his time at UAA, Michael has overseen the rapid global expansion of the company making it the leading mobile plant and crane specialist insurer in Australia, New Zealand and globally. Prior to joining UAA, he spent 10 years with Citigroup, where he held a number of senior roles, most recently as Head of Oneport (the firm’s mortgage distribution platform). At Citigroup, he led a national sales team responsible for generating 80 per cent of all new business originating from the mortgage broker market.
Stan Alexandropoulos – Chief Operating Officer
Stan has more than 30 years’ experience in the general insurance industry predominantly in Sales and Relationship Management roles. As COO of UAA, Stan is responsible for the management of the Australian business. His goal is to further develop and enhance UAA’s industry profile as the leader in Mobile Plant & Machinery Protection and deliver superior results via the implementation of profitable growth and service initiatives for our clients and stakeholders.
George Grasso – Chief Services Officer
George has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance, repair and assessing / loss adjusting industries. George is experienced in managing claims and assessing teams, as well as managing business relationships with customers and handling complex claims. George’s role as CSO is to continue to develop UAA’s professional global claims capabilities and service.
Jane King – Chief Underwriting Officer
Based in our Brisbane office, Jane joined UAA in December 2005. Jane, by way of on the job experience and external study, joined the management team in the role of Head of Compliance – Global. During this role Jane was instrumental in the development and monitoring of all processes and procedures relating to both institutional and industry compliance governance. More recently, Jane has been appointed to the role of Chief Underwriting Officer and oversees the wider portfolio performance of the UAA Group.
